Quick answers
Is the first session really free?
Yes, for any new player. Book a session via the form, turn up, see if it’s a fit. No payment unless you decide to come back.
What’s the difference between this and Athletes Club?
Development Centre is open to anyone, weekly term-time, structured group coaching. Athletes Club is invite-only, more intensive, and aimed at committed players who’ve outgrown grassroots. Many players start at Dev Centre and trial for Athletes Club later.
Can my child miss sessions?
Yes, if you’re on a term block, you can swap up to 2 missed sessions per term to a different group’s session of the same level (subject to space).
What about school holidays?
Dev Centre runs term-time only. During school holidays, we run Holiday Fun Days, some Dev Centre families come to those for continuity.
What kit does my child need?
Football boots, shin pads, water bottle, weather-appropriate kit. We provide bibs and balls. Kit list emailed when you book.
Where are the venues?
Dev Centre runs at our partner schools across the South East. We assign a venue based on age group and where you’re travelling from. Confirmed at booking.
First session is on us.
Drop in, see how your child takes to it, then decide. Same coach, same group, every week.
